If you are about to buy a home for the first time, I have a lot of tools and knowledge that can help you through this process. First, know that there’s someone on my team who is an expert at working with first-time homebuyers, and her name is Cathy Nyboer.

For now, know that you will benefit greatly from trying to improve your score as much as possible before buying, and you can do that through things like making sure you pay your bills on time.
