Let’s first take a look at our home renovation loan for buyers. This is a great product for our particular market where there are way more buyers than there are sellers and it’s difficult to find a home. With this renovation loan, you can find a house that might not necessarily be your dream home and make it your dream home. All we do is have the appraiser conduct an as-is appraisal of the home to determine what it would appraise for once you make the renovations you need to make to it. You can also use this loan to add onto the home. As long as the extension is covered in the appraisal, you're good to go.

For homeowners who want to renovate their own home, we have options for that too. If you have enough equity in your home, we’ll help you refinance and make the changes you want. If you don’t have enough equity in your home, we can have an appraiser give your home an as-is appraisal so you can borrow against the finished product. 

One thing we’ve noticed over the past month as we’ve spoken to people who’re thinking about refinancing is that our rates are actually lower than a lot of credit unions and banks out there. How do we get such great prices? We have multiple lenders. Banks and credit unions stick to their products. We, however, have 10 lenders at any point in time, and those lenders know they have to be competitive if they want our business. We’re also flexible in terms of how we work with our borrowers and what discounts we can offer.
