Here’s how Kathy helped one of her clients get a great deal.

Today we’re talking with one of the best agents on our team, Kathy. She recently helped a client find exactly what they needed, so we wanted to talk to her about how she helps her clients and gets the job done. 

Kathy’s clients were two sisters whose brother had passed away. They needed to sell his house to settle his estate, so she visited the property to see what she could do. The home was in pretty rough shape. There was a lot of clutter and junk that needed to be cleaned out before it could be listed. It took four dumpsters to clear their house!

Originally, we listed the property at $75,000 since the sisters needed around $68,000 to get everything settled. However, we were able to sell the house for $101,000! How did we do this?

At first, we received some good offers. They were over asking price and seemed credible. We decided to wait things out since we thought we could get a better deal, and we’re glad we did. Eight offers all came in at once, and most of them were cash. Eventually, the competition drove the price up to $101,000.
