This market offers great options to buyers who couldn’t compete before.

How is the market for buyers? You may have heard that the real estate market has softened somewhat. This has made it a great time for our buyers. I had the opportunity to sit down with Lisa Lister to discuss that subject.

This market is more competitive, meaning that there are options available for buyers, like 2-1 buydowns and down payments as low as 3%. Listing agents and sellers are also now willing to accept things like FHA loans and rural development loans, meaning that homebuyers without much upfront cash can still get into homes they couldn’t purchase a year ago. Finally, home inspections and home warranties are back on the table.
